Hi, I’m Eli, and if you’ve found your way here, you might be feeling overwhelmed, lost, or simply searching for answers. You’re in the right place—I’ve been there too.
Ever since I was a kid, I’ve been prone to anxiety. I was always the overthinker, the one who’d spiral into “what ifs” and worst-case scenarios. But back then, it was fleeting. I’d have moments of intense worry or even the occasional panic attack, but by the next day, I’d be back to normal, brushing it off as just another odd moment.
That was, until November 2023. Everything changed. I experienced a panic attack that didn’t just pass—it settled in. It became a constant, agonizing companion, a feeling I couldn’t shake. It was like the worst fear I’d ever felt, but instead of fading, it stayed with me day after day. I was trapped in a state of perpetual dread, afraid to leave the house. I made every excuse to avoid social situations, missed important events for my kids, and felt like a shadow of the parent I wanted to be.
It was unbearable. I realized that this wasn’t going to just go away on its own, and I couldn’t keep living like this. I knew I had to do something about it. That’s when my journey truly began.
I tried what feels like everything—therapy, books, techniques, lifestyle changes. Some of it worked wonders, offering brief moments of relief. Other methods were less effective, leaving me frustrated and disheartened. Here on this blog, I’m sharing everything I’ve learned along the way—the tools that helped, the ones that didn’t, and the lessons I’ve picked up.
If there’s one thing I’ve discovered on this journey, it’s this: Anxiety is not a one-size-fits-all battle. What works for one person may not work for another, and that’s okay. Healing is a process, a mix of trial and error, and small victories. But you’re not alone in this, and there is hope, even when it feels impossible.
I hope my experiences can be a source of comfort, inspiration, or just a moment of connection for you. Dive into the blog, explore the Anxiety Lab, and find tools that might work for you. Remember, it’s okay to take things one step at a time. You’re stronger than you think.
Welcome to a space where we face anxiety together, one breath at a time.
